Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka has organized an event to commemorate the seventieth anniversary of founding of the Peoples’ Republic of China in Colombo yesterday, 30 September 2019.
Minister – Development Strategies and International Trade Malik Samarawickrama was the chief guest of the event. President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, The Speaker of the Parliament Karu Jayasuriya, Former President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa, Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Cheng Xueyuan and several distinguished guests were joined the event.
