The event organized by Sri Lanka China Friendship Associations to commemorate the seventieth anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic China was held recently in Colombo. Numbers of distinguished guests including former President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa, The Speaker of the Parliament of Sri Lanka Karu Jayasuriya, The Chinese Ambassador to Sri Lanka Cheng Xueyuan, were graced the event.
The Sri Lanka China Journalists From, Sri Lanka China Society, and Association for Sri Lanka-China Social and Cultural Cooperation have also endorsed the event.
