Members of Sri Lanka China Journalists Forum (SLCJF) and other associations met with outgoing H.E. Ambassador to Peoples’ Republic of China Cheng Xueyuan recently to bid him farewell after successive tenure in Sri Lanka. The Ambassador had a cordial discussion with all members represented associations worked towards enhancing Sino-Lanka bilateral relations hours before his departure at the Bandaranaike International Air Ports.
Addition to the SLCJF, Members from the Sri Lanka China Friendship Association, Sri Lanka China Society, Association for Sri Lanka Social and Cultural Cooperation, and Sri Lanka China Buddhists Friendship Association joined the farewell bid.
Mr.Ananda Gunathilaka, President of Sri Lanka China Friendship Association, Mr.Jinith de silva, vice president of Sri Lanka China Society, Mr.Indrananda Abeysekera President of Association for Sri Lanka China Social And Cultural Cooperation, Mr.Sumathi Darmawarda president of Sri Lanka China Buddhist Association, Mr.Nalin Aponso, president of SLCJF and Mr.Kanchna Disanayika, secretary of SLCJF have represented the event respectively.
